Scenic Wilderness Rafting
Enjoy an easy class II float on remote sections of the Gulkana and Copper Rivers bordering mountain vistas of the Wrangell St. Elias National Park. Float by established bald eagle nesting sites and fish wheels in action, all while in view of the major peaks of the Wrangell Mountains. Learn about the natural history of the area while keeping an eye open for bald eagles, moose and bear who frequent the shore. Suitable for all ages 5 years and up!
No experience necessary.
We provide rubber boots, rain gear, life jackets, drink and snack.

Klutina River - Whitewater
This class III whitewater river trip offers continuously fast and splashy water as it travels to its confluence with the Copper River. Starting with an awesome 14 mile backcountry drive along the rim of the Klutina River Canyon, we’ll stop at the best views of the river below and the sourounding country. Your guide will review the natural history of the area, and its colorful gold rush history. This is an easy and fun class III whitewater run that is ideal for first-timers and experienced rafters. We also offer paddle rafting for those wishing a more challenging experience. Age minimum 10 yrs.

Tonsina River
Similar to the Klutina River except there’s some class IV whitewater and no road access between the put-in and take-out. This 23 mile, 6 to 8 hour trip has some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities of any river in the area because there are no jet boats and people to disturb them. It’s also full of salmon to attract wildlife. Ideal for first timers, and with paddle raft options for those who enjoy challenges. Minimum age 12 yrs.. Picnic lunch included.
